Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS 安装 U 盘启动提示“Couldn't get size: 0x800000000000000e”的解决方法

今天想在实验室配的外星人台式机上装个 Ubuntu，整个 Windows + Ubuntu 双系统，于是就开始折腾了。掏出了之前做的 Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS 系统 U 盘，插上之后启动，却发现报错了，U 盘启动盘根本启动不起来，提示“Couldn’t get size: 0x800000000000000e”。这就十分尴尬了，于是网上查了查，发现这个是 Ubuntu 的一个 bug，并且 Ubuntu 18.04.3 这个版本是没有解决这个 bug 的，所以解决方法就是换一个 Ubuntu 发行版，下面看一下具体的解决方法。

这里也给了一个被采纳的解决方法，不过我认为这个解决方法有点复杂，于是我看到了下面还有个新的没有被采纳的解决方法，非常简单：

I had the same problem,Couldn't get size: 0x8000000000000e when trying to install ubuntu 18.04.3 alongside windows 10.

I made it work just using an ISO for ubuntu 18.04.1.

也就是说，换成 Ubuntu 18.04.1 就行了。

于是老唐也换了一下，果然是没有问题了。
